This site publishes open questions and unfinished arguments. It is worth being explicit about what that is and what it is not, so that nothing here is taken for something it was never meant to be.

The writing is unfinished on purpose

Every page carries a status — seed idea, developing, stable, contested — and most of them are early. Arguments here get revised, contradicted and abandoned as the work goes on. A page is a position held at a moment, not a conclusion its author will defend forever, and nothing on it should be cited as settled.

Nothing here is advice

The material on this site is written for reflection and discussion. It is not professional, legal, medical, financial, psychological or safety advice, and it is no substitute for asking someone qualified in the matter at hand. Decisions you take after reading are your own.

Accuracy and error

The site is written carefully, but there is no fact-checking apparatus behind it. Dates, attributions, summaries of other people's arguments and technical claims can be wrong. Where a source is named, follow the citation and read the original rather than trusting the summary here. Corrections are welcome, and are made openly rather than quietly.

Where AI was involved

Some pages were made with the help of AI tools — for structure, editing, research or translation. Where that happened, the page says so in its own disclosure box and names the roles the tools played. The argument, the judgment and the responsibility for publishing remain the author's.

Whose views these are

This is a personal site. What is written here is the author's own view at the time of writing, and not the view of any employer, client, institution or organisation the author is or has been connected with.

Links to other sites

Pages link out to books, articles and other sites. Those links are references, not endorsements, and what they point at is outside this site's control — including whether it still exists. Once you follow a link, the other site's terms and privacy practices apply, not these.

Quotations from other work

Passages from books, articles and reporting are quoted here for commentary and criticism, with attribution. They remain the property of their authors and publishers; quoting them implies no claim over them and no endorsement from them.

Availability

The site is offered as it is. It may go offline, lose pages, change its addresses or stop being updated without notice, and there is no guarantee that it will be accurate, complete or reachable when you want it.

If something here is wrong, unclear, or represents someone's work unfairly, write to info@yielab.com and it will be looked at. Rights complaints have their own route on the legal notice.
