Legal notice
Who publishes this site, on what terms its writing may be used, and how to raise a rights complaint.
Who runs this site
Unfinished is written and published by Santiago Yie, an individual, as a personal and non-commercial project. It sells nothing, carries no advertising, takes no payments and has no company behind it. Correspondence: info@yielab.com.
Copyright
Unless a page says otherwise, the writing, the structure of the material and the design of this site are the author's own work and are protected by copyright. All rights are reserved.
What you may do without asking
Quote passages for commentary, criticism, teaching or review, with attribution to the author and a link to the page you took them from. Link to anything here freely. Republishing whole pieces, translating them, placing them behind a paywall or reusing them commercially needs written permission first — ask, and it is usually given.
Automated collection and model training
Reading the site with an automated tool at a polite rate is fine. Bulk collection that degrades it for readers is not, and no permission is given to reproduce the writing here in full — including as part of a dataset used to train a machine-learning model — under the reservation above. It is stated rather than assumed, because on this site the question is not a decorative one.
Other people's work
This site quotes and cites books, articles, reporting and other published work. Those quotations are used for commentary and criticism, remain the property of their authors and publishers, and no claim is made over them. If a rights holder would rather a quotation were shortened or removed, saying so is enough.
Rights complaints and takedown requests
If something published here infringes your rights, write to info@yielab.com with the address of the page, the material at issue, what right you hold and on what basis, and how to reach you. Requests are read as they arrive, and material that plausibly should not be up is taken down while it is looked at rather than after.
Corrections
A factual correction needs no formal complaint. The disclaimer explains how errors are handled and how to report one.
The rest of the policies
